PODFY QR Reporting · EV charging

Let drivers report
charger problems in seconds.

A driver at a charger that will not start usually has two options: call a support line or drive away. With a QR code on every charge point, they report the problem in seconds and your service team knows exactly which charger and connector it is.

Example of a QR reporting form

Monitoring sees the charger. Drivers see the problem.

Charge point monitoring tells you whether a charger is online. It does not always tell you that a cable is damaged, that a screen is unreadable in the sun or that a payment card keeps being refused. The driver standing at the charger knows, and usually has no easy way to tell you.

PODFY QR Reporting gives every charge point, and if you want every connector, its own QR code. The driver picks what is wrong, can add a photo and sends it. Your team receives a report with the station, the connector and the time, by e-mail or straight in your service tool.

Driver reports complement your monitoring and support line. They do not replace either.

  • Report per charge point or per connector
  • Categories for start, connector, display and payment issues
  • Photo of a damaged cable or screen
  • Reports to your service desk or maintenance partner
  • Webhook into your ticketing tool
  • History per charger to spot recurring faults
Not an emergency channel. A burnt connector, sparks or exposed wiring need your emergency procedure and the number on the charger first. A QR scan also does not prove that someone is standing at the charger, so treat reports as information, not as verified events.

How teams use it

Use case 01

Faults monitoring does not see

Physical damage, a missing cover or an unreadable display, reported by the driver who noticed it.

Use case 02

Help for maintenance partners

A report with station and connector lets the partner bring the right part on the first visit.

Use case 03

Recurring problems per site

The history per charger shows which locations keep generating the same complaint.

Getting started

Your asset list in, stickers out

  1. Download the template and fill in your asset numbers, names and locations, or export them from your own system.
  2. Upload it to PODFY. Every asset number becomes the reference behind its own QR code.
  3. Print the stickers. One per asset, with your logo and your own text, such as "Charger not working? Scan me".
  4. Stick and go. Reports arrive with the asset already identified.

FAQ

Questions about ev chargers

Does this replace our charge point monitoring?

No. Monitoring tells you whether a charger is online. Driver reports add what monitoring cannot see, such as physical damage or payment problems, so the two work together.

Can we report per connector?

Yes. Give a whole charge point one QR code, or every connector its own code so the report already says which one.

Do the people reporting need an app or an account?

No. They scan the QR code with their phone camera and the form opens in the browser. No app, no login, no account.

Can reports go straight into our ticketing or maintenance system?

Yes. Reports are e-mailed to the people you choose, routed per location or category, and sent by webhook to your ticketing, maintenance or work-order system. With the open API you fetch reports and update their status from your own tools.
